You must clock in and clock out for every shift on the NurseDash app. This is how we track the time that you worked to get paid.

  1. After you have entered the facility, launch the NurseDash app

  2. Log in (if necessary)

  3. Tap the Clock tab on the bottom of the screen

  4. A signature is required to clock in, you will see the text "Signature Required" in the Clock In and Clock Out buttons. Below these buttons are the instructions of who to see in order to get clocked in:

  5. After tapping Clock-in/out, you enter your clock time. Then you will be asked to hand the phone to the team member:

  6. Hand the phone to your signer, then the app will walk them through the steps to complete your clock in/out. They will be instructed to return your phone when done. That's it! The process is the same for clocking and clocking out.

Please note: You cannot clock in until 5 minutes before the shift begins.

If you have any issues clocking in or out for your shift, please contact us right away through the app so we can assist.

If you get an alert that you are too far away from the facility, walk to another section of the facility or to another area with better reception and try again.

If you have already completed a shift and need to submit the clock in or clock out time or adjust your timecard, please follow the instructions in this article: I need to edit or submit my clock in/out time - What do I do?
