As a valued member of our community, it is essential to understand how Shift Performance and Reliability affect your ability to access opportunities on our platform.

Shift Performance

Shift Performance is the average of ratings provided by facilities at the end of each shift. After each shift worked, facilities are asked to score your performance on the following:

  • Overall Rating

  • Customer Service

  • Clinical Skills

How Can I Improve My Shift Performance?

Facilities rate you on two main things - customer service provided and your skills demonstrated. You can impact these by how you interact with staff and patients while ensuring that you’re only applying for shifts where you hold the experience necessary to provide excellent care. The higher the score you receive, the more likely facilities will select you for shifts and give you priority access to future postings.

Reliability

Reliability is a new metric that measures your consistency in honoring your confirmed shifts and showing up on time.

Shift attendance, timely communication about conflicts, and on-time arrival are critical behaviors for our facilities. When our NDPros demonstrate these qualities, facilities are more likely to trust our community and share more shifts with our NDPros. Strive for a ‘Stellar’ Reliability to get preferred access to shifts and make this a great community with plenty of opportunities.

What Helps Your Reliability:

  • On-time arrival and clock-in

  • Honoring your commitment to attend a confirmed shift

  • Clinical skills

  • Providing excellent customer service

What Hurts Your Reliability:

  • Failure to attend a confirmed shift

  • Failure to notify NurseDash support about an inability to attend your shift will result in a no-call no-show, which is the most damaging behavior to our community. This behavior will lead to immediate account suspension and withdrawal from future shifts. Failure to provide justification can lead to permanent account deactivation

  • Withdrawal from a confirmed shift. Your score is hurt more the longer you wait to withdraw. If you can’t honor your commitment, withdraw as soon as you know to minimize impact on your reliability score

  • Late arrival and/or clock-in

  • A “Do Not Return” request for reliability-related issues
