At NurseDash, we connect NDPro's with two distinct pathways for shift confirmation. Depending on the facility and the market, shifts will be handled in one of two ways:
Instant Confirmation: These are shifts from facilities that have automated bookings enabled. Look for the "Instant Confirmation" label on the app—the moment you apply, you are confirmed immediately with no waiting for review or manual approval.
Standard Shift Facility Review: These shifts follow our traditional approval process, where the healthcare facility team manually reviews applicants before making a final selection.
What to Expect with Standard Shifts
Because standard shifts require individual facility review, the selection timeframe varies. It may take a couple of days for a facility manager to confirm an NDPro.
If you want an update on a pending standard shift application, you can message the facility coordinator directly. Simply tap the "messaging icon" located in the top right corner of the shift posting inside the NurseDash app.
Keeping Your Options Open
Please keep in mind that you always have the option to withdraw your application before you are selected for a shift. This ensures you do not miss out on other immediate opportunities while waiting for a review.
(Note: Withdrawing is only recommended for pending applications where you have not yet been selected or confirmed.)
