Some facilities on NurseDash offer additional holiday pay for shifts that start or end on select U.S. Federal holidays.
Holiday pay is time and a half, or 1.5 times the usual rate for a shift. For instance if the regular rate for a given shift is $20 per hour, the holiday rate would be $30 per hour.
Holiday pay is offered for shifts starting or ending on the following holidays:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Shifts posted on the NDApp already have the additional rate calculated into the normal rate, therefore what you are shown on the app includes holiday pay for these holidays.
Please note: If your scheduled payday falls on a bank holiday, there may be a delay in processing your payment.
